also don't forget to add Max Hulme and Iris Walker to that list. They are two extremely prolific folders with some absolutely amazing models that are often overlooked perhaps because many of their fantastic models wer designed so long ago. Max Hulme, is, in the words of BOS president Dave Venables, "probably the most prolific folder ever to come out of the UK".

May I add myself to the Canada list? I must've designed over 100 models or so.
Who's up for enumerating all prolific Japanese folders?

Cheers to another Canadian folder, Sunburst!

Also to add to Canada: Joseph Wu has folded many. Maybe not a lot shown on his website but I follow his Facebook and he seems to design a lot.

EDIT: Whoops, sorry never saw someone else post Joseph Wu.

Well, I don't know who's counting, but aside from being the father of modern origami, Akira Yoshizawa created 10's of THOUSANDS of original models, so although there's no exact number, he's go to be at the top of the list. Surprised no one mentioned that yet.

So starting with Yoshizawa, I suggest the following list for Japan's top creators:
Akira Yoshizawa
Issei Yossino
Kunihiko Kasahara
Makoto Yamaguchi
Satoshi Kamiya
Hideo Komatsu
Noboru Miyajima
Hojyo Takashi
Fumiaki Kawahata
Miyamoto Chuya
Maekawa Jun
Seiji Nishikawa
Tsuda Yoshio
Takeda Naoki
Kakami Hitoshi
Gen Hagiwara
Katsuhisa Yamada
Kawasaki Toshikazu
Tanaka Masashi
Morisue Kei
Kanazawa Takashi
Kasumi Seishi
Ryo Aoki
Kyohei Katsuta
Ryo Kamiya
Kashiwamura Takuro
Tomoko Fuse
Miyuki Kawamura

Not necessary in that order from best to worst  but I still think that I'm missing someone. Any ideas?

No Japanese folder list would be complete without:

Tomohiro Tachi
Watanabe Dai
Momotami Yoshihide
Meguro Toshiyuki
