Aims
This year, I am setting myself some (not too serious!) origami-related targets.
- Try some more models from CP only - I've only managed a few simple ones like the Joisel Dwarf so far.
- Enter all the monthly challenges - even if I'm not completely satisfied with my result...
- Work on the "finishing" of my models with wet-folding etc.
Anyone else got some targets they are aiming for?

Re: Targets
My targets are like yours
I'll try to fold more models from CP (I only made the Eric Joisel's Dwarf and the Brian Chan's Dobsonfly)
Refold the models that I only folded with bad or normal papers (like the LaFosse's Koi, Kamiya's Wizard and Quentin Trollip's Orangutan)
And finally finish the Ancient Dragon (I'm stuck on steps 65-67)

Fold Jang Yong Ik's Honey Bee (CP in Creased Magazine #5)
Fold more models from CP (I understand them, even the ultra-complex ones, its just that I usually avoid them)
Design some more of my models and diagram them.

Re: Aims
I'll try to explore 22.5 degree techniques. More importantly, just find time to fold.

I'd like to get back into designing... once my AutoCAD license ran out I stopped designing... I want to get back to it and try out some of my old design ideas that never got off the ground

Re: Aims
I'd like to understand Inkscape! Right now I can't even do a reverse fold! My origami book will never happen if I can't figure out this dumb program. I don't understand it and I also don't understand how everyone else does, I feel like I'm so behind

Re: Aims
Believe it or not, they don't cover reverse folds... I can find landmarks and fold over a single layer.

If it's just mountain and valley folds, how hard could it be?

Re: Aims
For 2012, I aim to design at least 50 original models.
I also aim to design a two-in-one model, that is: two subjects in one sheet of paper, like Elias' bullfighter and bull model.

Folding and unfolding, the universe is origami.
