hey,
i just wanted to know whether baking soda and diluter are of any use in origami?

Noooo don't do that! It wont work out at all. It will turn your paper weird colors, depending on what dye is in it. Most likely, it will ruin your paper
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....

I don't think baking soda will work. Paper is often slightly acidic and baking soda will just cause a chemical reaction. Not sure what diluter is.

But of course you can always try Benlewisorigami's motto - "I would rather fail trying than fail without trying...." and see what happens :wink:

I'm pretty sure that's what they said about wet folding at first.... you will never know until you try!
