metal gear solid origami

Post by fold-it-all »

I havent seen much Metal Gear Solid origami so I thought I would post a topic on it. I was thinking of something I should create and I came up with characters from the Metal Gear Solid series. I have designed one model so far, and the crease pattern will come shortly, followed by the diagram as its not to complex. The model will be a surprise until I put pictures up with the diagrams.

It would be interesting, although I have to admit that I have never played a MGS game. I can, however, think of one MGS origami design...

You are in the right direction Jonny

Oh and this post is my first thread, so yay :D but I did make a mistake, I meant to put it in the diagrams section :? . I will make another thread there once I finish the cp which will come within an hour and i will post a link once that is done. Expect to see more from me as I plan on folding a lot from the metal gear solid series but I will at least tell you what I am working on, unlike this surprise model.

Ok I get it, I thought it was in general but it was in diagrams after all ...sheesh im a little bit confused but im pretty sure I have got the hang of it now, the other one got deleted so I wont have to worry about it. I have finished a crease pattern with the basic needed folds so help me by telling what can be added/revised, so here it is:

Ok here is some information on how to get some of the needed creases to get to the later stages. I first started off with a 4x3 grid then to get the left and right strips you fold it into a sixth. But remember I will be making diagrams and when when the time comes I will release them,im now working on them so they shall come soon!

Alright so hope you like it, and please comment as I am still working on perfecting it. Is the picture too big if so ill try to fix that. Oh and if you are wondering ill tell every one what it is after I get enough replies or after a week or so, that is unless someone gets it.
