Hi !
I fold the fox with red tant paper, and i paint the other side with acrylic, the result is very good, you can see it on my flickr page here :

New Book - Roman Diaz - Origami Essence

philbx73 :
Nicely done " Vixen" with the white acrylic on tant .
I always smile a bit when I see how Roman designed his fox, applying slightly caricature features to better hint at the more integral, yet mostly unseen, characteristics of a fox.
Adds an interesting, attractive and amusing quality to this noble creature.
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

So... secret code...
I haven't seen anything suspicious in the book so far. Did anyone have more luck with it? :)
So long and keep folding ^_^

For myself, I prefer to catch my authors who become my slaves and threats them with a gun until they write for me a book every 6 months!
It's not very fair, but an artist must suffer for the origami community, isn'it ?

Nicolas
haha!so funny!you threaten them with a gun?!even more funny!

New Book Roman Diaz Origami Essence

Re : Secret Code

I believe that Nicolas has hinted at the inclusion of a code in this book, as in all the others.
They have been challenging, but eventually breakable.

Hints :
Start by comparing page numbers of the models in the photo index with actual page in the book.
Look carefully at step numbers in each diagram.
Read each bio closely for content theme comparison.
Anomalies exist, simply find them.
Compare with past methodology .

Biggest obstacle is that the models are so enjoyable to fold, who has the time to tackle analysis of book, letter by letter ?

I hope that this is just a rough aid , and doesn't spoil the hunt. I will delete this if Nicolas desires .

Good luck !
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,

For some reason, I cannot download the english/spanish version of the bonus. Is this just me?
