Ideas for an art project

Post by Iwvi »

My art teacher has assigned us a project where we make a painting or sculpture, we can reproduce an existing one or make our own or whatever. I asked and I can do "paper sculpture" any ideas of what model to fold(was thinking on some of kamiya's dragons or hong's eagle), i want to make people get more into origami (they think its only birds and boats) also it has to be big(over 25 cm), any advices of what paper could i use would be really aprecciated.

The dragons are pretty much guaranteed to be attention grabbers. Make sure to take pictures for us though.

The various dinosaur skeletons can be done on a pretty large scale and are impressive. They are multi-part models, though. There is also a dragon skeleton variant that is cool.

You could also do something modular.

I'm glad that worked out for you. That's a classic model.
