Wetfold models

Post by Anine »

Hi!

I have some elephanthide paper, size A4. I wanna try some wetfolding, so which models will you recommend? It has to be possible to fold them from a square made of A4. Thanks in advance!

Hi Christian!

Thanks! Where can I find diagrams for Neal Elias' Angel? Searched the model database, but not sure if all the angels by Neal Elias is the same as this model?
Where in Germany do you live?
Have a nice day!

hmm... Neil Elias has at least two different angel models. I think that one is out of the "Miscellaneous Folds 2" booklet. you need some practice for most of his models, but he's surely one of the masters in origami.

ps: I come from Baden Würtemberg, near Heidelberg

meh. i don't think komatsu's models benefit much from wetfolding. that's their beauty, IMHO--they look great with just any paper or folding method.

in general, any "open-belly" model benefits from wet-folding, imho. some kawahata dinosaurs come to mind.

yes there are diagrams... can't remember where they are. the origami database seems to be unreachable.

The elephant diagrams are published in BOS magazine issue 245 in August 2007.
