everyone kept talking about something called 22.5 degrees layout. So what is that 22.5 degrees layout thing? I heard that is hcan help solve some problems on designing and stuff like that? can someone help?

22.5 is not the solution for your designing problems, it is just the simplest method for producing creases, since the references are very natural.
The square has 4 sides and each side has a 90 degree angle right? If you divide that angle in half, you ger 45 ° and if you divide that angle again, you get 22.5°. Most traditional models are based in such divisions of the angle.
