Wall paper paste

I recently got some wall paper paste and I'm not sure about some things 1 the paste is well a paste and not a powder so is it ready to go or do I have to dilute it with with water?
I know there is a topic on mc but I think this is differant.

Well, If you look at the paste, you should be able to tell that it is white, and waaaaay too thick to spread on paper. You should dilute it with some water. Just how much is hard to say. Add water in small bits and mix thoroughly, checking the consistency as you go. When the glue can permeate the paper easily, you have reached the right consistency.
