So, Android Raptor, who won? (folded the smallest crane)

I like to think I did. I seem to remember mine being slightly smaller than hers. I also remember the teacher about having a heart attack from seeing cranes that small.

Yup, I did! I'm just really bad with names and couldn't think of his at the moment.

hmm... i would have to say i got a really good feeling after i folded gupath go's first version of his hippogryph...which is still one of my favorite models..

and finally figuring out the folding sequence for montroll's fox, after a period of like two weeks of carting the diagrams around and trying to fold them at every opportunity i got, EVEN though it now occurs to me thats like a pretty easy model...

My favorite memory would be when I first tried folding a complex model and succeeded. It was a great affirmation of my skills as a folder.

My Favorite?? Well, a few years back there was a Vampire Valentine Party (Gothic Party) in Antwerp (Belgium). There were a lot of beautiful women there but one really caught my eye, she wore a nice red dress with long red satin gloves. So I made here an Origami flower I designed myself (and got published later) and gave it to here. But due certain events that night I wasn't able to stay any longer and I didn't even had the change to speak to her. I didn't worry a that time because I was certain to see her back again soon as the Goth community in Belgium isn't that big. However, it took several months till I saw here back and she thanked me for the flower I gave here but she was saddened by the fact that when she unfolded the flower she didn't find any phone-number written on it (I never do that). She tried to re-fold it but she failed at this and she regretted it that she did unfold it. She also told me she never wore those long red satin gloves again because she didn't want to compromise the magic they had absorbed from that little folded flower. That was so special to hear.

When i first sat down and tried to fold the lion by david brill. It took me more than 2 hours to do! Not to mention it wasnt exactly the prettiest lion in the whole world. But still, it was like a bolt of lightning, realizing that these then impossible looking models were not so impossible after all. Been folding ever since.

1.)Introducing Origami to my friends. By the time I showed them, I hadn't learned very much. Just a few traditional models, and possibly some Montroll models. I showed them a waterbomb, because i knew they would enjoyed that a lot. I ended up attempting to teach all my classmates, and folding dozens for the people that couldn't understand the folds. Only one of my classmates truly understood what to do. We folded ALOT of waterbombs.

2.)When my copy of Licence to Fold arrived in the mail. I had waiting it for over two weeks, and I had nearly drove myself crazy! It came another week late, too. The moment we pulled into my driveway, I hopped out of the car and ran to the doorway. I then picked up the long anticipated package and tore it open only to see that there was a large dent on the cover.:x I was still happy to recieve the book, of course.

3.) Completing my first Lang Tree Frog. I was incredibly proud of myself, even though it looked like a mutated Joisel rat...

I like the first one the most, because My classmates were entertained by my creations, and are still today. Their jaws touched the floor when I brought in Kade Chans's Magic ball!
