I have talked with Nicolas Terry by e-mail and he has said that the book contains models by Hojyo and Komatsu. He saw the book by himself at OUSA 2010 from the Makoto's hands.

so nothing by kamiya then?

as i said in an earlier post, it appears to, at a bare minimum, have diagrams for his kabuto-mushi and his cocker spaniel in there.

the million dollar question is if the list of diagrams is complete, or if there's more.

I think Kamiya should have someone translate the book into a Bilingual book, like his first book, and so that there will be more buyers.

yes. in fairness, i don't think anyone should delude themselves into thinking that any kamiya (or, for that matter, a komatsu) book will be anything more than an anthology of previously published diagrams, with perhaps 2-3 unpublished ones. it's clear at this point that kamiya has as many models diagrammed as he did in his first book, if not more.

that said, being an ex-fiddler myself, the hoyjo violinist makes this book worth the price of admissions.

i also have to say i'm a bit puzzled. makoto yamaguchi is the editor for the book, but isn't he also the curator for gallery origami house (i.e., why isn't the book being published through gallery origami house, though i guess that's neither here nor there)?

Bethnor, maybe it is easier to publish the book through a publisher that is bigger than Origami House (i.e. money, costs, so on...)

That model was never published.

This book clearly isnt meant to be works of satoshi kamiya vol. 2, but more of a read and learn, which i think is still pretty cool

As you said before, and I totally agree with you, if the book is traduced, it will be pretty cool. If there's only a japanese version, it loses a major part of interest for people not reading japanese.
