It's arrived!!

Post by childofsai »

My copy of "Licence to Fold" arrived this morning. It rocks!!

It took me 10 minutes to solve the puzzle -- interestingly enough I was able to solve the main puzzle, but not the secondary puzzle which is supposed to be "Help/Aide" for the main puzzle.

Anyone out there who knows what I'm talking about?

Of course, if this is being discussed already in another thread, do let me know!

And of course, I hope nobody will publish it or give easy clues to solve it in order to keep the fun !

Nicolas, I received my copy of License to Fold, and am very impressed with it. The quality of your books is very high, and the presentation is very well done. I'm looking forward to when you publish the second book of your own models as well.

Keep up the amazing work,

Andrew
If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.

Only 10 folders have found the secret code of the book today !
They can now enter in the secret area and can
- download 12 new diagrams
- read 2 interviews
- discover exclusives photos of a new origami movie (I've made all models and background).

That might motivate some folders to find the code ....

Its definitely worth it. I just downloaded the extra diagrams for more of Nicolas' great models and the movie stuff looks great!

(I wonder if it says something about me that I solved the puzzle before even folding any of the models from the book?!)

Since I don't understand either, I don't think it is "telling" to say that the grid is 15 x 15 and there are 15 numbers separated by slashes. I assumed that H: and V: meant Horizontal and Vertical, like a cross word puzzle, but that didn't get me anywhere.

if you don't know how to use the grid, try to find the "Sentence help" reading carefuly the book ! If you find this sentence and use Internet to understand the "Key word" in this sentence, you will find how to use the grid.

For those who easily know how to use the grid, now it's time to find the "sentence help" as an additional puzzle (but with no gift :o) )

Please do not give easy tips to find the solution to let all the other folders the pleasure to solve the puzzle.

Nicolas, you said there was also a code in Roman Diaz's book, I can't find anything in the book that even might suggest the presence of a secret code. Can we have a hint or something?

Does that mean that it uses the same exact code structure as Passion Origami? Because I can't figure out how to get all of the other numbers, and its driving me insane!
