I'm a Biological Sciences Major with a Minor in Nutrition. I find biochemistry fascinating and I always perk up in class when the professor mentions protein folding (I'm always looking out for articles examining the link between it and origami)!
My origami preferences fluctuate from year to year but I find that I always enjoy folding models of the subjects which I study (mostly animals as I am applying for veterinary school). I also enjoy modular folds which I can fold to occupy my hands during class... it saved me from sleeping through a particularly boring and repetitive Biostatistics lecture!
