Sorry, yes, all computer games.WhisperPuffin wrote:English please? are these computer games?
They all are like Komatsu's book in that they have been rumoured to be coming out for years and years now and people think it's just an urban myth.
Duke Nukem Forever is the grandaddy of such games having been in development for about 10 years or more now.
"Had we but world enough and time..."
Don't forget Starcraft 2.... Although that sounds like it might finally happen.
Komatsu mentioned in his blog a couple months ago that he'd resumed work on his book (http://d.hatena.ne.jp/origami/20090429/komatsubon) so I think it's no longer an urban legend.

i really don't see why it's so hard to believe that the minute, the second, that komatsu's book will be published, it will be announced on the gallery origami house webpage. they never fail to announce the tanteidan convention books, they didn't fail to announce the reprinting of origami fantasy, or the printing of both origami insects I&II. they even announce when a tanteidan convention book is out of print. why do people think they would "hold out" on komatsu's book?
the release of the book may be glacial, but i don't understand how periodic inquiries here will tell you more than going there.

Awesome. Been waiting for those lion diagrams for too long.
Re: Komatsu Hideo Book in the works?
I can't say I've been waiting for any particular diagrams, but Komatsu is probably my favourite Japanese designer, so I'm excited to find out that there's a book coming. Which is something I wouldn't have known if not for this thread, so I'm glad for it.
Thanks, Kafar!
