And for the fan of CP, this is the CP.
It's a work that I've made one year later working on a special triangular base that I've create from a square.
In Bonn convention 2007, in germany, I was with Roman Diaz, Gerwin Sturm, Anna, Stefan Delecat and some others guys.
I've launched a challenge to them : create something with this "strange" base. Roman won with a wonderful fish !
The bad story is the fact that Roman completly forgot this story and probably put the fish in a bin !! Folders, we lost an incredible model !
For those who are interested, you can read here http://origami.kwoon.info/forum/viewtop ... ch%C3%A8re
all my research to find a folding sequence enough good to teach it in workshop and publish its diagram in a book.
The CP and base, if you want to play with it :

New Books by Nicolas TERRY
Nicolas :
Thank you for the advance notice of the excellent cow by David LLanque .
I always admire David's models, as well as Rene Mollo's models and the creativity of the Grupo Origami Arequipa .
Roman Diaz also has an outstanding " Vaca Lechera", a bicoloured cow, which I hope to see in his next book.
I am sorry to hear that you have so few pages available for your own model, I know that you work very hard on all your models so they really deserve more space.

May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

Photos of models :
Gorilla by Quentin Trollip.
Complex
97 steps - 9 pages.
This is probably the best Gorilla that I've ever fold. The Head is a wonderful moment to fold with a last step which bring it in 3D. Unfortunately, you can't see that on the photo.

The wizard's apprentice - Noburu Miyajima
Complex
78 steps - 8 pages
A very nice model with an interesting folding sequence, as always with Noburu. The Apprentice stands by itself using a kind of cape behind.

Hi all
Some last news about the book :
I'm yet in the correction and need to draw diagram at least 4 pages of the eagle + my own model. I've now only 2 weeks before the deadline for the printer and it's short. I hope to finish at time if you want to have the book for Christmas ;o)
Here some details of two models from the book :
#10 Manuel Sirgo : Boxing Mantis
A High detailed mantis with a nice design and shape of the front legs.
Complex : 9 pages - 101 steps
Manuel Sirgo was very busy just after the AEP Convention 2008 when I asked him the model. So, the challenge has been mainly for Manuel to be able to find enought time to draw a so complex model !
#6 Hoang Trung Thanh : Swordman
An incredible model with an incredible diagram. I'm not fond of Box-pleating approach. It's so boring to precrease, then you need to collapse all in a base and shape ! Boring and more over often very difficult to draw a box-pleating-collapsing diagram ! I was a little worry for this model before to see the result. But Hoang Trung Thanh made a wonderful job : One the one hand, he found an interesting folding sequence : this model is probably one of the most complex, pleasant and interesting that I've ever fold. On the other hand, the diagram is probably one of the most impressive. Check an example below and you will understand why Hoang Trung Thanh is a genius in the folding, but also to draw diagram.
UltraSuperMega Complex - 13 pages - 153 steps
