hmmm i dont know that base very well. But if you have seen my Onion (from pikmin) i made one base (cant member wich one) did a couple squash folds to make some squares and then use those four squares to make a half bird base and TADA!!! it was fun to make too!

I DO want help but when ever i do a youtube vidieo or another video it takes FOREVER to load and after it "loads" it still does the stop and go thingy

Or it could just be a slow internet connection, which is perhaps less readily solvable. I learned origami from diagrams alone (apart from the crane, which was the first thing I folded) and did just fine. Perhaps videos are better for learning the basics, but diagrams are also adequate, if not just as good since you will also be learning the universal printed language of origami. Pictures also load faster than videos, so diagrams would be more friendly to a slow internet connection.

In step 6 you have to free the uppermost layer. It is easier to unfold the model a bit to do so.

Re slow video loading:
I think that we all assume that everyone has broadband internet connections, but there are still many, many dial-up connections which make watching a video extremely tedious.
