i know. they haven't done it yet. it's 10 days until the convention. i'm not sure if they were this late last year.

haha, i do have to say, the "i'm gonna wait for the table of contents" stance is puzzling. this is easily the most anticipated origami publication every year.

again, just out of curiosity, is anyone going this year?

i notice that kamiya is giving classes at gallery origami house on his spinosaurus (separately from the convention).

which means there are diagrams for that too :(. why couldn't i live in tokyo?!!!

I'm definitely getting it…the question is whether I need to purchase it.

Edit: No it doesn't mean there are diagrams. He's taught his bear and rabbit at conventions, and that did not mean he gave out diagrams.

Contributors find out when the table of contents is posted/when their comp copy arrives in their mailbox.

I'm sure it will be awesome as usual.

Remember that photos on tanteidan are not definitive !
For example, for the 13th the cover should have been Joisel's dwarf, according to rumors and photos. Finally, it was Kamiya's lion.
So .... wait and see !

haha. i again love the talk that if kamiya gives a slightly simplified loggerhead, people won't buy the book, which extends that if the models in this collection are not complex enough for folks, they won't buy it.

you refuse to buy tanteidan convention magazines at your own peril. without exception they end up being origami collector items.

I have done my pre-order. As Bethnor says, Kamiya is neither the beginning nor the end of origami.

C'mon, even if there is no kamiya model, so what!!! Jaosn Ku has submitted his 145 step fairy, surely that makes it a good book!
