Just got my copy last night. Well worth the wait!
Much clearer diagrams (the colored side of the paper is lighter in color so there is better contrast) and dramatically better walk-through on design process.
The polygon packing chapter is especially good. Looks like an excellent method for design.
Silverfish, dancing crane, organist, and elk for diagrams.
12 Bug cp's in the back, best cp format I've seen, should make collapsing a lot easier to figure out.

for the Elk diagram. does the first 3 steps consist of measurement by ruler and marking ratios of the paper (like the CDO diagrams)? because thats a pain. if the new book has a more systematic way of doing the markings I'll be quite interested.

you are better off measuring and marking off lang models nowadays then finding ratios with creases. he himself does as much. for instance, with the western pond turtle, you are really better off drawing the hex grid as he suggests.

Just got my copy for Christmas (along with Satoshi's first book--finally), and it is awesome! I can't wait to fold through it! I agree with mummykicks; very clear diagrams, awesome looking CPs, nice, clear design process. All in all, great book!
