They said that Komatsu keeps his lion's diagram for his own book... A lion is not an insect, right? :P

In anyway, if there will be only insects I'm not interested on it... I agree: enough insects for now.

I would buy the book just for the Lion and Tiger. :D
Whenever I do complex Origami I get this sinking feeling.

Hi all

Komatsu is working on his book but no publishing date yet. He work a lot to update the model, changing and improving the folding sequence. So it's not just a copy/paste of all his old diagram. That's why need a long time to publish the book. I suppose (no confirmation) that the books looks like as Kamiya's one, with many already published models with improvement + some new models.

I'm very happy because he gave me his personal Lion model. I know, you hate me now.....

no one knows for sure, but i think the general consensus is that another book is inevitable. he basically publishes at least 1 diagram a year. a second book would just be a matter or putting them all together in one anthology, plus diagraming one or two exclusives to be the "crown jewel," so to speak, of the book. that's basically a word for word description of his first book (and why some were disappointed in it, as most of the diagrams were previously published elsewhere).

Great! So there is something to look forward to. I guess after your book, the next most awaited book to be released is Eric Gjerde's Origami Tessellations in January.

Could you continue posting pics of the other models in your book? It keeps the excitement level pumped up!

Himanshu.
