Peace Crane Space

I hope this is relevant enough and on-topic enough to post here... I'm currently spearheading a project to construct a 23 foot tall, volume-reactive, color-changing, iridescent, origami crane art installation. I thought perhaps, the project might be of interest and relevance to you folks. If so, you can read more about it on kickstarter:

Cheers.

Do it. That's very cool.
Also, what do you mean by volume-reactive?

If you watch the kickstarter introduction video, it explains it in better detail, but essentially, there is a microphone in the roof of the crane, that monitors the volume of conversation below. This microphone is hooked up to a RGB LED controller, which alters the color of thousands of LEDS strung throughout the walls of the structure, dependent upon the loudness of conversation within. This way, if someone plays music near the crane, the LEDs will follow the beat and turn it into an interactive, pulsing, party barometer, while if there's only soft conversation inside, the crane will be a calm, color-cycling shelter.
This all depends on it being funded though, ha. Anyway, that's the concept.
