The title explains itself. :) So, does anyone here know if Brian chan uses treemaker for some of his designs? Thanks,
Justin

When in doubt, ask him yourself.
He has an email.

Oh, no not at all. As long as you have a point to your email (ie., a question), then he will answer it. But if it's non-definitive chatter about nothing; well, there isn't much he can send back.

So just email him an inquiry about whether he used Treemaker for any of his models, and you should get a reply back.

I've emailed him a few serious questions ( i wasn't asking for a CP or diagrams!) and no response.

But I wouldn't think he would use it. Treemaker is pretty limited in designing, only circle packing. You can't add grafting, bps, etc

Well you can modify a treemaker design and add grafts :)

Yes, true, but I think it would be easier to just make the grafts fundamentally

but besides, bping is still not an option which is a main designing tool nowadays

It's probably because no one knows whether or not he does , but honestly, I doubt he could make the kraken with treemaker.

I mean a response from him (I emailed him). I think SOME of his work is treemaker designed :)

Maybe some of his older work. I would be very surprised if he uses it with any regularity in recent history. Treemaker designs, as said, are very limited. Grafting is not a magic fix for a design and is only useful if used wisely, just like many (any) other design techniques.
