I manged to fold the Mammuthus, the wizard, pegasus, chocobo,splash

Most likely, yes. The ancient dragon was the 3rd super-complex origami that I have folded (after bahamut, and Kamiya's phoenix 3.5), and it wasn't that difficult, although it might take a few tries. I would also suggest folding the ancient dragon before bahamut because I think that it is easier.

I tried but that was a long time ago with a really horrid paper :( after that i never had the courage to try again...

I though so too, the bahmut's structure looks a lot more difficult than the AD
