What should i make my sister for her birthday?
Any models you can suggest?

I also started doing things for my sister's birthday. If you give us some details, i.e. how old is she, favorite flowers, favorite movies, etc.
For examples, if she likes The Lord of the Rings you can make her a Nazgul by Jason Ku, if she likes roses you can make her different roses, notably the one sheet rose by Brian Chan and the A Miura-ken beauty rose by Robert Lang.
If she likes fashion and stuff, it's going to be a bit harder. You can make her a pair of stilettos by Daniel Brown.
If she likes dancing, of course Elias's Last Waltz.
And so on...

Anyway, Alex is right. Make something relevant to her interests.
That's one of the reasons my own designs encompass a wide variety of topics--so I can make something for just about anyone.

I know from experience that people generally recieve modular gifts better because they are bigger and look more complicated. If the recipitent's a non-folder you have to make sure everything's really attatched (i reccomend glue personally), and you can't send it by post.

I've begun framing the tesselations I make and giving them away as gifts. Saw one on a living room wall last night, so I think they're appreciated.
