Craziest methods you've used when making something?

It's pretty straightforward, what are some of the craziest things you've done to finish off folding a model? for example, I folded Satoshi Kamiya's Ancient Dragon from a really big square, and aside from using the regular yarn and clothespins to hold it while it dried, i had to use 2 bull clips, a squeeze clamp, and I had to get it wet with the hose.
So, any of you do anything crazy to make your models perfect?

i've intentionally spilled soda on the paper as an easy way to marble it. it doesn't work. :?

-Crumple it into a ball and pull out random parts of the paper to approximate some kind of form.
-Spit on the paper to help with shaping (believe it or not, it actually works).

How about dunking one of the best Flashers i made into a bucket of water with a rubber band to hold it together?
Really helps the action work!

After all of the precreasing involved with Kamiya's Spinosaurus, I spilled soda on it. In frustration I crumpled it up, only to find later that the soda and crumpling gave the paper a nice texture and great foldability. The end result turned out great. :D

Due to lack of tissue paper to make tissue foil, I actually glued squares of 6" kami to a sheet of foil. Folded fine except for the thickness.
