Please submit an unpublished crease pattern that is foldable for us amateurs

I have a lizard that I would like to diagram, but a tutorial online already exists... I'm currently busy trying to learn 22.5 degree design so I'm busy figuring things out, but I'll try to submit something if possible...

I'm trying to learn that as well! :) if you happen to have some handy documentation I am always interested (I got ODS and the Origami Constructions (online PDF) from Lang)

I'm thinking about submitting the CP for my Darwin Beetle. Would anyone be interested?

I'd definitely be interested, but you have two months. You could try and diagram it, as more people could fold it, but that may not be what you want.

Uhh, yeah, I don't think I'll diagram it. It's boxpleated 56ths, which is impossible to draw by hand, and I don't know how to use Inkscape. Though maybe I could diagram the shaping, like HT Qyuet did with his horse in 50hrs+.

boxpleated 56ths? nevermind then, haha. and that is a good idea, it'd be much easier that way.

If you are an origamiUSA member, Kamiya has written an article on finding proportions in 22.5 degree design.

Just wondering, crease patterns are allowed right?

yes, they are. its reccommended to include a text guide along with it, and required to include a picture of base and finished model.

yes sir. You can give diagrams to a published CP, but not the converse.

Just so you all know, I'll be at the Italian Origami Convention for the next few days. I don't know whether I will have time to check my mails, but I'll sure check them when I come back, so please don't panic if I don't answer immediately.

Does it matter if we use our real names or forum usernames? I'm wary of letting people know my actual name. (Which is why you can't find it on the Internet unless you know where to look.)

I'm sure no one would mind if you used your forum name... Although it would be more proper if you used your real name when your getting published, if it involves your well being or sanity then i'm sure an exception could be made.

I found a nice elephant design diagrammed on the back of a pack of paper. I have slightly modified it to have white tusks and hind legs that look like something :D
Does that count?
