How do you keep dust off your Origamis?

Post by iRockSniffincoke »

Hi! I was curious to know how you guys keep dust off your origamis. I put my origamis on a bookshelf in my living room and after 1 month or so dust piles up so I have to clean them. Where do you keep your origamis and how do you guys prevent dust from accumulating on them?

You could put them in shadowboxes, display cases, glass domes, etc.

I agree with the shadowboxes & domes.
You could make a shadowbox with a nice wood, have grooves so that you could horizontally slide a long piece of glass in front of each row. The compartments would have to be various sizes, per row, to accommodate anticipated sizes of models.
One could also take a thin sheet of plastic, make a box , turn it upside down over the model.
A sheet of plastic 3 feet by 4 feet would allow for several boxes.
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .
