Blatant Favoritism!

Post by Wuggums47 »

This is a thread to share all of your favorite origami related things.
What is your favorite model?
What is your favorite book?
What is your favorite paper?
Who is your favorite origami artist? (And don't say yourself, not even if you're famous)
What is your favorite Style of origami? (Figuritive, abstract, geometric, modular, etc…)

My favorite model is probably Jeremy Shafer's Surfer on a wave, it was one of the first models I folded that really made people say "Wow!" But I'm also a big fan of Quyets owl.
My favorite book is either Origami to Astonish and Amuse, or Vog2. Although anything by origami house or Nicolas Terry is usually my favorite for a while after I get it.
My favorite paper is probably tant.
My favorite artist is Jeremy Shafer.
I like pure figurative origami the best.

I thought I was the only one who regularly looks at paper just because I really enjoy paper. I reccomend trying the nicolas terry tissue foil, it's very good. A tad thick for some models though.
