World Origami Days - Challenge
Posted: October 6th, 2014, 9:24 pm
Hi,
OrigamiUSA proposes a "challenge" that I love and that I hope you will also help with. It dares you to develop an activity in a public library to promote origami
It can be any activity, such as demonstrations, exhibitions, give away models, workshops, or any other.
World Origami Days is from October 24th to November 11th, so you can take on the challenge at any time between those dates. Notice is given in advance so you can contact the authorities of the library and avoid misunderstandings later. Yes, this challenge is specifically for public libraries.
I'll try to do a couple of things, nothing extraordinary but I want to do my bit to support this beautiful idea for promoting our passion. Above all I'll take the opportunity to teach how to fold a couple of my own models.
Here are the official details of the challenge: https://origamiusa.org/calendar-event/w ... -challenge
And here you tell the world what you did once you have already responded to the challenge with your activity: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/99PVHJ7
What do you propose to do?!
