My perfect origami book

Post by naomi »

Yes, interesting question.
Here are my requirements for the perfect origami book:
1) The book starts by explaining commonly used symbols and folds - this is really helpful.
2) The diagrams are arranged in order from easiest to most difficult.
3) There is an attractive colour photograph for each model.
4) Diagrams are exact, two-toned, use standard origami symbols and have text explanations in English.
5) As for theory, it should be incidental and incorporated into the instructions for the model- almost like a 'did you know' tip that they have in the For Dummies books.

But all that aside, I think you would make a squillion dollars if your book included a DVD that had videos or animations of how to do the models. EVERYONE would buy that!

Good luck!
