hi
Actually I'm in the last part before first release of D_O shape....
I want share with you the most important tools of this release (please check the main videos):
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... YkDLbDbaVR

also check some images :https://www.flickr.com/photos/14821116@ ... 158621505/
the main tools are:
*Angulos Iguales (Equally Angle)
*auto cp and fast test folding
*cortador en angulo (Degree bisector)
*Doblar 1 y Render (Fold 1 and Render)
*Grilla (Grid)
*join cut extend
*Offset
*Oreja de Conejo Rabbit ear
*Perpendicular (2 vertices)
*Perpendicular (circuncentro)
*Perpendicular (orthocenter)
*Disolve and delete
*Add plane or Ngon
*Line Set
*Add Symbols
*Render
*Save
----UPDATE:
* mirror
* line types
--- UPDATE:
* UNFOLD
please tell me which tool do you think I missing?
thanks for your support

Sounds great!
Is there something which can mirror one half of a CP over a symetry line? So you don't have to draw everything you did on one side on the other side again.

Can't wait to try it out!
It would be awesome if you could import oripa files for the cp

Re: D_O Shape... which tools do you want?
Specify grid size
Copy/translate
Group and ungroup (for use with copy/translate or mirror)
Change line type (m or v) for already drawn lines
Do you support non-square paper?
"Snap to line segment end points"
"Snap to grid"

this would be useful because some people design with other paper shapes, like right triangles, equilateral triangles, and other polygons, and rectangles.
Check out my gallery and don't forget to leave a comment!

hi Ngon is avalaible...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCG-fe6ykmA
may be for triangles I should put some specific tool...
Grid size is avalaible... only you need to specify the number of cutsFoldtastic wrote:Specify grid size

"Snap to line segment end points"
"Snap to grid"

please... Can you specify a little more about your idea about Copy/translate and Group and ungroup? may be some visual example??
line type is almost ready... but actually I have some problems to put differents types of lines at the same plane.... I'm still working on it.. please check actually feature

Re: D_O Shape... which tools do you want?
I will attempt to explain multiple functionalities with an example.
With "group", you select line segments, and then click the group button Then they behave as one unit. You could then use other commands on the group and it would apply to the entire group. You could make a bird base and then decide that you want a bird base that is much smaller in instead. You would select all the lines in the bird base and click group. Then you would select that group and use a "resize" function to shrink the bird base down to one quarter of it's size.
Then you would work elsewhere in the diagram on other stuff.
Later you decide that you want another birdbase in the corner. Instead of redrawing the bird base, you select the group that you created earlier. Then you click "copy/translate" and specify the coordinate where you want the birdbase to be duplicated. Then you would have two identical bird bases in different locations.
Later on, let's say you want to delete one of the creases in the bird base. To do that, you first select the bird base and then click "ungroup". Now you can select one of the creases individually and delete it.
