Sorry, I made this much more complicated. Thought you wanted a long description.

Napkin Ring: A decorative band for holding a napkin rolled up or folded as part of a place setting.



[as opposed to a non-origami napkin ring: A napkin ring is a circular band used to hold a folded napkin as part of a place setting. :-) ]

So what I understood is that napkin rings are a reference of elegance in a meal, right?

OK, I'll leave it like this then:

Napkin ring: For holding rolled up or folded fabric napkins as part of a place setting.

Would that work?
