The Miyajima - Jaramillo camel

Post by Brimstone »

I folded the original Miyajima model from the CP some time ago. Image
The model is a pleasure to fold and the way the humps are formed is quite clever, but such a nice model deserved a better head so I added a graft and this is the result Image
Close up of the head Image

I am still not 100 % satisfied with it but I am proud of my acomplishment

The original folded by Muyajima and its cp can be found at http://www.h5.dion.ne.jp/~origami/e/camel.html

Nice!

If you're adding grafts along the sides, you'll now also have some extra paper at the legs - these can be used to form the large hooves of the camel.

The extra paper gets in the front legs as it can be seen in this picture of this camel that I did with 2 colored paper Image I guess it should be used for the heeves. I gotta try it someday
