Setting Origami Free

Postby Gerardo » October 31st, 2017, 5:28 pm

It isn't my activity but I'd love others to participate in it as well. The group Origami Costa Rica has proposed an activity as part of the World Origami Days: https://www.facebook.com/events/1781433332154550/

Here's an excerpt:

"We want to invite you to an activity that we have called "Setting Origami Free", which consists on folding any paper figure and leaving it in a public place, a park, the bus, the train, any place is good for someone to be surprised by finding it.

You can leave a note explaining the activity or simply leave the figure, we want you to share pictures of you setting them free and of the place where you left them".

The Facebook event is in Spanish but I suppose it'll be totally OK if you want to post something in English. I'll set mine free today. I hope to also get to see yours on the Facebook event :).

C'mon guys! Set one free before this year's World Origami Days are over. Don't forget to share a picture on the event.
