Origami Course Criticism?

Post by noneuclidean »

Hello all!

I'm trying to create a course for origami that uses existing models to get absolute beginners to be able to fold complex models.

Here's what I have so far: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

What should I add/remove to make this better?

I'm admittedly having trouble figuring out exactly how the chart is organized. I'd assume you want folders to purchase the books mentioned and fold certain models to develop their skills?
It's not a bad idea by any means, but some of the books are (might be) difficult to obtain--and, of course, there's the issue of price (unless you were to provide the books as part of the course). Otherwise, I like the idea of getting more Internet sources. (Joseph Wu's website has a nice variety of models with different complexity levels.) And I'd be happy to provide an intermediate CP or two depending on what you need. :)
After the fall, we rise.
