Too many online activities? Should I wait a bit for mine?

I'm going to offer through Zoom a conference/workshop I had developed, a couple of years ago, for an international origami convention in my country. Its titled "Creating through the Frankensteinian Method in Origami".

I had planned it for Saturday morning, May 9th (in two weeks). Now, I was thinking... there are a lot of origami activities online these days; some through Zoom, but some others through Facebook Live and Instagram Live. I wonder if it'll be the same–say–in June or if there won't be that much offer then as there currently is.

So, what do you think? Should I postpone it to the first Saturday of June, for example, just in case there won't be as many online origami offers as there are now, or should I just take the opportunity and do it on May 9 just like I had originally planned?

I'd really appreciate a prompt answer guys. I want to offer everyone something you can enjoy and learn from, instead of feeling overwhelmed by having one more offer from so many.

I apologize that this isn't a reply to your question, but instead another question.. But, what are some good web sites or groups where these types of lessons are posted or made available? I know of a couple but feel that I am looking at an iceberg tip and not the actual iceberg. And, what is/are your preferred methods or organizations to offer your own content?

I don't really know sattej. Well, Leyla Torres had offered a course related to playing and experimenting with folds. I understand she'll offer it once more. I guess that's an option: https://www.origamispirit.com

Why are you planning it that saturday in particular? If many other zoom workshops are offered during the same day then I would postpone.

Sunburst, I meant that there have been lots of origami online events everyday in the last few weeks. I'm worried that we'll run out of them for June for example... I don't know; I'm thinking about supply and demand. What do you think?

About that particular day and time, I have no knowledge of any other origami online event. I also think it'll be a more comfortable schedule for people of differerent continents of both sides of the Atlantic.

Thanks for answering.

I think you should do it now. Stuff will keep happening, and you can always do more events.

EDIT: @sattej: heres a link to a bunch of the online classes and such going on now, courtesy of OrigamiUSA: https://origamiusa.org/calendar

I agree, you can always reteach the same models if you have to.
I found that around maybe 10:00am PST can get both sides of the atlantic's daylight hours.
