Hi,
I've been trying to reverse engineer this model (don't know who the author is or how it's called):
I think it is based on some kind of modified windmill base.
I've made many attempts without succeeding.
My best guess is that it is done with a fringe around the edges and then taking the middle of the resulting edge to the center of the square
This is the CP for my best result and how the finished model looks like, which is nice but still not as nice as the original.
So does anyone have an idea on how to do it?
Any ideas on how to do this model?

Now that was easy.
1 Fold the diagonals.
2 Make pinches at their half points.
3 Fold the corners to those pinches.
4 Fold the edges to those pinces.
5 Turn the paper over.
6 Fold the corners to the centre of the paper.
7 Unfold the edges from step 4 to get waterbomb bases at the corners.
8 Mountain fold the edges.
Done.
