A quick question
Is David Brill's Brilliant Origami titled such because of his last name being the first part of the word brilliant?

Of course! The book is a classic!
In fact I am amazed at the way he has explored the triangle as a beginning shape for some of his popular models (Horse, Lion etc). Personally, I find his approach parallel to Akira san's in a way, that, there is enough room for expression in the final shaping stage.
BTW, if you like his models, you should see him when he is folding; the paper just seems to melt in the desired shape!
I do hope he comes out with another book!
