Three of his Japanese style house crease patterns made in into
Tant magazine #82 (sorry no picture on my site, but there is one on his site.

I am willing to say most likely he is a Japanese folder being that his crease patterns are in Tant magazines and his name resembling one of Japanese origin. He seems to be leaning towards more and more complexity in his designs over time. I especially like the jet crane how clever.
The man pictured above looks spectacular but you wont hear me complain if I never see a crease or diagram of it.
As you guy well know I recently found out how to solve the Rubik’s cube (I made a message about it in the Kitchen sink) and I can honestly say I never thought that I would see one folded out of paper. Once again I am proved wrong. I wonder if it is fully functional?
His Enterprise looks a lot like the one in
Tant Vol #9 created by Ryo Aoki.
Other than that I really don’t know that much about this guy, I think he is a sprouting creator, which I think we will see more and more of over the next few years.

Hmmm his stuff is pretty cool. My last attempt at a box-pleated human figure turned out a lot like that last model.... but obviously not as well. The faces are very well done.

Warmest greetings, I am very impressed with your work but will never attain your skill as I am just an amateur folder. I would like to be able to fold the jet crane. I have tried to figure it out and have come up with a suitable tail fold but I am truly baffled by the folding of the jet engines on the wings. I think if I had some better pictures perhaps I could fold something similar. Is there any printed pattern available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thank, Margaretlouise email: lolamissdog AT gmail DOT com

Does your comment apply to my request? Perhaps I am out of place and do not understand what this forum is about. Please explain so I do not make any further incorrect inquiries. Thanks

Margaretlouise, I guess what Brimstone wanted to say is that Tomohiro Tachi hasn't wrote on this Topic, so he might not read it if you write him here. You can ask other people here for help with the jet engines, someone might be able to provide it, or you write Tomohiro Tachi an E-Mail. His E-Mail-Address can be found on the main page of his homepage:

Alternative you can also try to reach him via his Flickr-Account:

After re-reading my original post and reading the rules for posting I think that other than being a little unsure just who I would be talking to, I don't think I was speaking out of turn. I wrote a response just a few moments ago but I' not even sure if I was signed in because I was required to sign in again. If my previous response was not received it just stated that your info. could have come from Brimstone and I would have been happy to get it. Instead, his comment made me feel I was way out of line somehow. I am new at this sort of communication and an explaination instead of what made me feel stupid would have been appreciated. Your tips on where to look are what I will look in to. Thanks much, you needn't publish this if you do not want to, I just wanted to clear the air. Thanks again, Margaretlouise

Margaretlouise, I'm sorry that some new members these days get a very harsh welcome. Usually this place is very friendly and the members are helpful. Sometimes it is also hard to see how a post was really meant. You see, we have members from all over the world from many different cultures and you can't see there faces while they are talking to you. Some words that sound harsh may not be meant that way. If you don't see the talking person smile and blink the same words get a completely different meaning. I hope you aren't discouraged and give this Forum a second chance.
Nice Greetings and welcome on board!

Thank you for the explaination, I won't be so quick to jump to conclusions and thanks for the welcome.
