I think the point of the diagrams available online having a hint in them is that they are an exact copy of diagrams in the book. This being the case, the same hint in the book is in the online diagrams. So you may want to look at nicolas terry's website and see which diagrams from the book are available on his website and then look at those for hints. I can't stress enough that you should read wolf's hints and then look at absolutely every number in the book keeping in mind those hints. Good Luck!

Anna, the link to the diagrams work for me... at least they did yesterday...

I will have to look at those diagrams, see if I can find a hint in one of them

yes, this challenge is yet available.
I continue to send some exclusive stuff to all winners of the code.
The last file has been the new interface of my website in php, available in some months

Nicolas

NB : do you think there is also a code in Roman Diaz's book "Origami Para Interpretes" ?

Now, that's a rather cruel question, Nicolas!
I admit that I somehow expected (before getting the book) to have a new code to break in the book, but I totally forgot about it when I had this amazing book by Roman Diaz with his wonderful models in my hands. :-)

Now I will probably have a sleepless night, trying to find hidden messages between the lines....
So long and keep folding ^_^

Whoa-whoa-whoa...

So there may or may not be a secret code in Origami for Interpreters...

Oh no...

So.... if I were to find a code (even if there is none) who would I contact to confirm my suspicions, Nicolas or Roman? 8)

Nicolas Terry's " Passion Origami"

Post by gordigami »

I have just recently bought the book, and have solved the code.
However, I believe that Mr. Terry's models are far more ingenious and rewarding than the code.
The models are very well designed, very rewarding to complete, and I believe that time spent on them will encourage much more thought than any code.
I appreciate Mr. Terry's encouragement to fold " beyond the diagram" . I, for one, would be ecstatic if and when he publishes another book of this quality. ( Yes, the Roman Diaz' book is terrific as well !)
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

Woohoo! I cracked the code, better late than never. :D Now I'll have to order the new books and see if I can figure those out too. Oh yeah and of course the models in the books.

This is really getting on my nerves. I like it.
Only one question(I hope it is not a problem): let's say that on page 49 I have found number 23 being different(random numbers). #23, yes, but is it p 49 or not?

I could be mistaken, but I believe that your " question " is very probably more cryptic than the actual secret code !
