Very interesting. In spite of the fact that I don´t know when and where the next BOS convention takes place, I don´t think that I will have the time and money to visit it. I also don´t think that Nicolas would tell me how to solve the secret code even if we meet in person.Nick wrote:Don't forget, Nicolas is the special guest at the next BOS convention!
Ok ive been doing a bit f work on the clue
anyway i ve got a few small ideas that might be right or wrong , Ill share them and perhaps some could tell me if Im on the right track or not
1. The number (#) shows the number of letters from the beginning of the page.
2. Throughout the book there are some numbers that have something different about them , bolder, bigger incorrect etc. THese act as clues and show the pg or #
3. Earlier wolf gave some clues one of which was
"4. THIS is the 4th clue"
is there a connection between the fact that the 4th clue refers to the word THIS with 4 letters? Does one find the numbers/ pg numbers by finding significant words and calcualting the number of letters?
4. Are there numbers just written randomly in the book perhaps large one's in the back of pages or something that are the clues.
5. Is there a significance in any of the cartoons?
6. IS there significance in what anna noticed about the English translation giving a smaller paper and same result 3 times in the book
Im trying to break the code and I m just guesing her. Any help/ answers would be apreciated

Wolf's actual clue had the word "This" in italics. I assumed this had something to do with the text in the book that is in italics, but I've been too burned out and lazy to research that angle.T wrote:3. Earlier wolf gave some clues one of which was

As I said, I didn't research it myself, so I don't know. That seems like it would be a big leap, though.
I still think the problem/solution has to be fairly contrived to only have the limited number of outputs. This suggests to me that the puzzle elements were inserted into the book after the majority of the content, but I can't be certain of that.

Malachi are right. I've included the code only when I finish all the book.
You search so difficult clue ! In fact, it's so simple ! A child could crack the code ! You will understand when you find it !
I'm happy to read all your ideas about the code ! Indeed, Now I have new ideas for the next code in the next book )))
Happy searching

Ok thanks for all the help, if anyone could answer confirm some of my other questions above I would be grateful.
Ok been trying to work out Wolf's latest clue, *GRIN*.
1. This also has 4 letters like the first clue "THIS"
2.it is also in capitals.
3.It is in italics
4. Perhaps it has something to do with rearanging the word.
5. It doesn't have anything to do with the word's meaning.
6. the third letter in both words are I
I have made 6 observations about wolf's clue. Wolf, is there anyway you can confirm which of these are true and which ones are not.
Thanks very much.
Any more clues welcome
