I know that this is not a popular books since she didn't attribute the models but I have also noticed that on my version there is a flower on the front that doesn't appear in the book.

Does anyone know what this flower is and where I can learn it?

that was actually the first origami book I ever bought, I got it in a charity shop for a quid and sadly, I still don't know who those flowers are by or how to make them, but look on the bright side - there are better origami flowers out there with diagrams that are easier to find

Yeah I just dug it out, it was my first book too. I thought of it as I just got another book of origami flowers but nothing quite like it is in there. I'll keep looking about though.

That looks to me like a flower by Akira Yoshizawa that I learned when I was at the Bay Area Rapid Foders meeting in San Francisco. I don't know where diagrams can be found, but I can talk you through it if you want.

*edit* wait, no, I'm wrong. It's got different petals...

So it is, pretty cheeky. The publishers must have got lazy, Hamlyn was the oringal publisher of the other one as well. I hope it is actually in that one

The diagrams are just small sketches from my brain without actually folding one and they aren't very accurate at all, but you'll get the idea.
