I am starting to fold my first ancient dragon!! 60cm square of something we call here in brasil "silk paper" it was the only thin and big enough paper I've found, and they sell it folded resulting in useless creases
for now around step 21

i know this isnt going to have a good result but its only a test fold! I've became so self confident when I folded Joisel's hedgehog on my first try

more pics soon

The paper looks good, and your accuracy is also good- I think this should turn out pretty well.

Isn't the paper too small for the first try?
As the number of layers increases (even if the paper is very thin) it becomes a little dificult to fold, specially the head.
I folded my ancient dragon whit a paper at less twice the zise of yours.

I folded my first with a 13cm sheet of tissue paper

Size is relative to paper thickness and folding accuracy.

just a little thing: the paper he's using actually is tissue paper. "Silk paper" is just the literal translation of "papel-seda", as we call it

some months ago I have tried the bahamut with printer paper and it was a total disaster

Thanks! I always wondered what was the "tissue paper" in origami sites and just now I realized it was just papel seda xD
