Realistic Origami Fighter Jets

Hello Everyone. I'm kind of new to this website, but I've been doing origami for quite some time now (about seven years) and one topic i've found interesting is fighter jets.
I'm just letting everyone know that I am currently developing an origami f-22 raptor, and if anyone would like diagrams, crease patterns, or if any more experienced folders can give me tips, let me know.

I'll send in a picture soon
The style of my model is based on Lee Jae Gu's variation of fighter jets and the f-22

welcome to the board
I'm pretty confused with your entry. do you want to offer diagrams, want help with the diagrams, want help with designing tha plane,...?

I hadn't seen Lee Jae Gu's models.

Those are good models of the F-22 and the F-16. It should be easy to use those bases to create an F-35 also.

People don't usually show the F-22 distinction of having two engines, and the wings give a good impression of photo realism scale.

Then, the next variation is to make them aerodynamic :-)

Looking forward to your pictures.

Here's One Picture, sorry about the quality.

Here's a bigger one:

I'll send in more pictures of underneath the model, hopefully a crease pattern as well. btw, there is no cutting or pasting in the model, one square.

I'm assuming this is not from one sheet of paper but can anyone confirm one way or the other. If it somehow is then all I can say is WOW.

I would say that this is from one square, with the four planes coming from the four corners of the paper.

I've nearly finished an f-16, so i'll get some photos of that up here soon. the f-22 was made from a waterbomb base, so i'll get a crease pattern up if anyone wants to try their hand at it.

If anyone can actually get into contact with lee jae gu, then it would be most appreciated if we can some diagrams of the f-18 and f-16.

This appears to be his blog: http://blog.naver.com/jazz1862

But I can't read the language or translate it with Google ... it may use pictures rather than letters.

I imagine that his contact info is hidden in there somewhere.

If this thread isn't dead, then it would be really appreciated to see some diagrams for lee jae gu's f-16 f-18, su-37 terminator and harrier. these are just fantastic models! :D

The blog is in Korean. You can tell my all the circles in the symbols.
Google doesn't want to translate the page, but you can copy and paste the text into google translate and get each part translated individually.

There are diagrams on the blog.
Most of them are not for aeroplanes though.
Here's the first plane I found: http://blog.naver.com/jazz1862.do?Redir ... 0005608270

Wold anyone at the forum be able to fold some of these models using the pictures as a guide?

Jose Maria Chaquet Ulldemolins's book has a whole lot of realistic aircraft.

Here's the name: Famous Aircraft in Origami, 18 realistic models.

I have seen this book before, on the design in origami website. the diagrams for the typhoon can be found on the spanish origami association website. they are strikingly good models, but not as realistic as lee jae gu's.
I took a look at the the website the other day and discovered new diagrams for lee jae gu's f-5e plane.

Jose's book is great. Though, the F-18 is a litlle skinnier than the real thing. It also says the Sopwith Camel is harder than the Fokker Triplane, but I have to disagree. Tem Boun also has cool origami jets in his book "Awesome Origami Aircraft Models in the World's Best Fighters," but only the stand is from a square. :D
