Just over a week ago or so i ordered myself a copy of "Origami to Astonish and Amuse". This was to be my 2nd book (I know I'm slacking) or so I thought ^^

Had to take the car to the garage today to be fixed (again) and so I thought I would go on a wander whilst waiting. found myself in a used bookstore i had been meaning to visit.

Browsed around for about 10 minutes and found myself in shock!!!

"Origami Design Secrets by Robert J Lang" staring me in the faceImage.

Instantly checked it was complete and rushed to the counter, even more of a shock the guy only wanted £11 for it :D

Will last me a while, some of the models in there seem a bit much for me at the moment so I guess I will be coming back to this book often as my origami improves :)

Origami Design Secrets is like an origami Bible. Not only does it have several fun to fold models, but if gives priceless information on how to design models. I highly recommend reading it from cover to cover (it'll take a while, but it is worth it). The section that I found the most helpful was the circle packing section - I have never really used circle packing much, but the section was fascinating to read. I also enjoyed the point-splitting section.
