hello everyone im typically new to the origami scene, i need to learn how to make this base to create a model that i'm trying to make. But i've searched a ton and no results seem to lead me to learning how to do it.

Can someone help me explain how to do it or if there's a source of information that I can learn to do it from?

In Dave Brills book brilliant origami step 9 of his dragon stretches a partial frog base but heres what you do, hold 2 long points of a finished frog base, stretch and flatten

it wont help at all im explaing the gist of it to you

edit* i just tried to fold one but now i know what you mean by just a "gist" lol. Can I ask where you learned to do the stretched frog base? from that book? there seems to be no reference of the "stretched" frog base anywhere.

Are there any other sources of where I can find how to do it?

The only one i know of is in Dave brills book, and no, he doesnt refer to it as a stetched frog base, sorry i couldnt have been of more assistance

FlareglooM: nicely done diagram. I haven't folded through it, but it looks clear. It might a good reference to be stored by someone like Sara Adams or Joseph Wu.
