Opus?

Post by NoahRatcl »

I've noticed that a lot of origami models have the word opus and some seemingly random number after them. What the heck does this mean? Thanks!

opus as opera just means work
http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=opera
so in lang it would mean work number xx
i´ts just so you can map the progress of your work through time
lang says only the pieces with real paperwork behind are labeled with opus in his system, but you could do anything you like.
maybe you could call yours studies or something like that
