Paper for a Kawasaki modified rose model

Hi all ,
i want to make a kawasaki rose modifed by conrad chou , but i want to know what paper its suggested for this model.
I saw http://duke.origami.x10hosting.com/ gallery and i like the shining red paper, but i don't know the paper name and other infos.

Can you origami gurus help me ?

Not sure on the paper used in that gallery, personally I find a thicker paper works well for roses since it holds the shaping well
