i was watching an episode of doctor who the other day and thought to myself, "why has no one ever tried to make an origami dalek, so i tried but failed epically, so i propose the challenge to anyone who wants to, to make an origami dalek. good luck.

That would be neat! Have you tried box pleating? There are several lady-in-dress models that could be modified (see Dama in seres de ficcion) to fit a dalek.

There already is one origami Dalek made. See here. There was also another topic on Dalek here on this forum a long time ago.

I messed around with this, and as my first attempt came up with this:

I think I will have another go - the tricksey part is doing it all with one sheet, given a dalek has such funky morphology - happy with my first attempt tho

Really need instrux for a good Dalek. Mine's terribly unsophisticated and flat, though it is a good puppet.
