Re: What To Fold
Or maybe Lang's Treehopper from Insects & Their Kin. It's reasonably simple, don't know how it would be with double tissue though.
Re: What To Fold
what would be a good model to fold for tant 35x35 cm, lots of colors...
i tried Caballo by Roman Diaz, and its already starting to get thick when i folded the legs.. can you guys recommend a good intermediate-complex model that may be good for tant? something that distributes the layers in a wider area (insects would be the worst) so it wont get too thick..

Re: What To Fold
I tried Kade Chans Fiery Dragon with tant, it ripped at some parts, but it turned out okay once those little mistakes were covered.

big ol' fat winner right here! I love this model. 1st try didn't go well but I'll keep practicing. Thanks!!!GWB origami wrote:... maybe roman diaz's kiwi.
Re: What To Fold
Assuming kiwi birds?
Silly question! Although you could invent the inside of a kiwi as a modular wreath!

Re: What To Fold
i think Satoshi's pegasus would look much better in white, but i doubt either would work well in tracing paper.

Re: What To Fold
I made the Satoshi Kamiya tenma H7 from tracing paper, and Shuki Kato did it with tracing paper too.
I also made the normal version from Works of Satoshi Kamiya with tracing, it ended up looking fine
Here's a photo of the finished Tenma H7 Shuki Kato folded if you don't believe me:

Re: What To Fold
I would rather have two colours in a pegasus-preferably light grey and gold. Light grey's easy to get n tracing paper, just it's all grainy. If you want fancy colours, i wouldn't use it.

Re: What To Fold
You could do Robert Lang's Acrocinus longimanus or Longhorn Beetle from Insects II.
