Today is the centenary of Akira Yoshizawa’s birth. He’s considered by most folders to be the father of modern origami.

Right now there is an exhibition of his work beeing held in Leiden (the Netherlands) in museum "the Sieboldhuis" in honour of his 100th birthday. It is held untill the 30th of May 2011.
